Located in Port Perry, Ontario, on the shores of Lake Scugog. The Club has been around since 1958 and for over 58 years we've developed into a facility that caters to the needs of our members, but most importantly the needs of our community.
Our club offers a good balance between social and competitive curling, with the focus being on enjoying the game of curling and meeting some new friends. The Port Perry Curling Club offers many different leagues, so check out our League Information section on this site to find one that's right for you.
The Port Perry Curling Club is also available for private rentals. We have a large banquet room on the main floor and a newly renovated lounge on the lower level. Check out our Club Rentals section for more information.
Check us out today and... Good Curling everyone!
Congratulations to PPCC member Nathan Steele who won the CurlOn Under-18 Mens Provincial Championships yesterday in Hamilton. Nathan plays second for Team Josh Leung and they curl out of the Whitby Curling Club.
After starting the competition last Wednesday with two straight losses, the team rebounded nicely and finished the round-robin strong with five straight wins and a spot in Sunday’ssemi-final. The boys beat Team Owen Purdy from Listowel 4-2 on Sunday morning, earning them a birth in the finals against Team Hazen Enman from Bayview. In a very exciting final that was tied 3-3 after regulation, the game was decided in dramatic fashion in extra-ends when skip Josh Leung drew the button on the last rock of the game for his single to win 4-3. The boys will now represent Ontario at the Under-18 Nationals to be held in St. Andrews, New Brunswick on April 9-14th.
Congratulations and best of luck to Nathan and Team Leung at Nationals. Let’s Go Ontario!
This past weekend, Kelly Evan skipped a team in the Intermediate Provincials at Gananoque CC and finished with a 5-2 record. Her team was tied at 5-1 with Team Froud and Team Shackleton. Team Froud ended up winning. Kelly played with three women out of the Tam Heather Curling Club, Lianne Robertson, Leslie Wagner and Jeanette Miller. Excellent results!
