Port Perry curlers, Rachel and Nathan Steele, playing in the Ontario Provincial Championships this week!

Many of you will be aware of these two young curlers and their many successes on the premier curling stage but I wanted to be certain that you knew that you will be able to watch them on the CurlON streaming TV channel this week as they both have qualified to play in their respective Women's and Men's events, the Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the Tankard!

Rachel is on the Dundas Valley rink skipped by Isabelle Ladoucer and Nathan is on the Whitby C.C. rink skipped by Sam Mooibroek. Attached below are links to the draw schedule and to the streaming site. CurlON will be streaming all of the sheets at The Plex in Port Elgin all week. I think their plan is to have commentary on two of the sheets on each draw. Play January 23rd at 7:30.

Both Nathan's and Rachel's teams pre-qualified for these provincials based on their bonspiel success this season. Fun fact, Nathan and his teammates can often be found practicing on our ice late on a weeknight. They have often mentioned how much they appreciate the quality and consistancy of our ice and rocks ... and our hospitality. Well done Mike and Rob!

Even though these bright young curlers no longer curl from our club, they learned to play here and still represent us proudly and we are proud of them ... almost as proud as Susan and Rob.

So on behalf of all of us at the Port Perry Curling Club, we are wishing you the very best of luck this week Rachel and Nathan - Have Fun!!!
