The Port Perry Curling Club ("PPCC") 2017/18 season will start before you know it. One minute it's the awards banquet - and in the time it takes a leaf to fall it's Open House and Registration night! Registration for the 2017/18 season is now open, and continues until just before the first rocks are thrown in October.
The club offers another great season, with the "lead" events being two Registration/Open House nights on Monday, September 18th and Tuesday, September 19th, 2017, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Ice arrives on or around September 24th, followed immediately by our Learn to Curl sessions September 26th, 28th, October 2nd and 4th. The leagues then start right in the day after Thanksgiving. There's some great new programs for returning and new members alike this season, with our Skills Development Program on Sunday afternoons for 7 weeks starting October 1st. This fun, non-competitive jitney program is great for mixing existing members looking to practice and hone their skills, and new novice curlers looking to get comfortable throwing rocks with tips from instructors before joining the league of their choice (space permitting) in the 2nd schedule.
All registrations will again be online, so if you're familiar with the process, please proceed. If you generally detest or do not have easy access to the Internet, helpful PPCC members will be available at our Open House/Registration Nights to guide you through it, so swing on by the club September 18th or 19th to register and say hi to old friends, or meet some new ones! Some leagues fill up fast and it only takes a few minutes to reserve your spot in your desired league(s).
Even though you register now, payment is not due until October 1st. However, to help make the management of your annual dues payments a little easier, you can choose the option to set-up installment payments that will be paid throughout the summer.
Are you a Returning PPCC member? Simply log into your members account then click the link in the blue band at the top of the Member's Home page to start the registration process. Make sure to confirm that all your personal data is up-to-date and confirm your volunteering and sparing availability for next season.
New to the PPCC? Select New Member Sign-Up at the side of the page. You will be prompted to enter some information that will be submitted to a club representative for review. You will then receive a confirmation email allowing you continue with your registration.
